Pricing questions
Is PulseRoster really free?
Yes, and it isn't a trial. The Free plan includes 3 departments and 20 members with every core feature switched on: duty and activity tracking, the full LOA calendar, the disciplinary system, documents, applications, certifications, announcements, full Discord role sync and Discord member import, plus a public roster page. No credit card is required.
What do the paid plans actually add?
Scale and depth, not the basics. Standard removes the member cap, raises every other limit, and adds per-rank activity requirements, slot-based and hybrid rosters, .docx document import and all public roster themes. Professional adds a custom domain for your public roster and application forms, white-label branding, per-department documentation, checklist documents, required reading for certifications, document read analytics and unlimited history. Full API access is announced for Professional but has not shipped yet — it is marked Soon on the plan table and tracked on the roadmap.
What happens if I go over a limit?
Nothing is deleted. You keep everything you already have — you simply cannot add more of that resource until you upgrade or reduce it. If you downgrade with 50 members on a plan that allows 20, all 50 members remain on your roster.
Do I pay per member?
No. Pricing is per community, not per seat. Every member of your community gets their own login at no extra cost on every plan, including Free.
What does "Soon" mean on the plan table?
It means the feature is committed and announced but not yet built, so it is not available on any plan today — do not buy Professional for it. One line carries that marking right now: full API access. It sits under Planned on our roadmap, and everything without the marking works today, including the custom domain, which shipped on 7 September 2026.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Go to Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, then the community reverts to Free with all of its data intact.
