Terms of Service

Effective July 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PulseRoster (the "Service"), a product of PulseTech, a division of PJL Telecom LLC ("PulseRoster", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PulseRoster, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a community or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Description of Service

PulseRoster is a roster-management platform for online roleplay communities (such as FiveM communities). It provides tools for managing members, departments, ranks, certifications, activity tracking, leaves of absence, disciplinary records, documentation, public rosters, Discord integration, and an optional integration with our PulseCAD product. Roster and records content is in-character, fictional roleplay data — not real government or law-enforcement data.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction or by any platform you connect) and able to form a binding contract. If you are a minor, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information and keeping it current.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the Service or its APIs;
  • Upload malware or content that infringes others' rights;
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • Store real, sensitive personal data (such as real government identification, financial, or health information) about members — the Service is for fictional roleplay administration; and
  • Misuse connected third-party APIs (including Discord) or violate their rules through the Service.

5. Community Operators & Member Data

If you create or administer a community, you are responsible for the member information you and your staff enter and for how you use it. You represent that you have a lawful basis to add members and to process their data, that you will honor their privacy rights, and that any public roster you publish discloses only information you are permitted to make public. You are responsible for configuring permissions, public-roster visibility, and integrations appropriately. You will indemnify us for claims arising from your community's data practices (see section 14).

6. Third-Party Platforms

The Service integrates with Discord and, optionally, our PulseCAD product. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any platform you connect, including Discord's Terms and Developer Policy. You agree not to use the Service or any connected integration to spam, harass, impersonate, or otherwise abuse any platform, server, or user.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

PulseRoster offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Current plan features and pricing are shown in the app and at checkout. Payments are processed by our billing provider and its payment processor; by subscribing you also agree to their terms. Paid plans renew automatically for the billing cycle you select until canceled; you can cancel at any time to stop future charges, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. EU/EEA/UK consumers: where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to digital services, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase unless the service has been fully performed at your request; contact us to exercise this right. If your payment fails or your subscription lapses, paid features may be suspended or your community limited to free-tier limits.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service for you and your community. You are responsible for the content you and your members submit, including uploaded images and documents.

9. Intellectual Property (DMCA)

The Service and its original software, design, features, and branding are owned by PJL Telecom LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms grant you no right to our trademarks.

We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to [email protected] (subject "DMCA"), or by mail to PulseTech, a division of PJL Telecom LLC, 9169 W State St. Unit 2215, Boise, ID 83714. We may remove allegedly infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of PulseRoster is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described there.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or a connected platform's rules, or to protect the Service or others. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions (including sections 8–14) survive. Data deletion following termination is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that third-party integrations (which we do not control) will always be available.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PJL Telecom LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $100.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PJL Telecom LLC harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your community's data practices, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party platform's rules.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and PJL Telecom LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Colorado for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
